The Plagues, Trumpets, and Thunders of

The Book of Revelation

There are similarities between the plagues, trumpets and thunders of the book of Revelation. This chart demonstrates how these are similar. (Please note this is a simplistic overview to demonstrate this in principle, and a follow-up article is needed to clarify and explain the points.) This similarity does notchange the order of events as we understand them. It does emphasizethe role of the two witnessesand indicates the possibility of the return of the ark of the covenant to a temple in Jerusalem, just prior to the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord.
